Malcolm is at the center of the chaos and is the middle of the two brothers who still live at home. His oldest and favorite
sibling, Francis, lives at military school. His parents believe it will reform Francis and keep him out of trouble.
Malcolm receives special treatment at school because he has been diagnosed as an intellectually advanced genius creating even
more dysfunction as he copes with his family life.
