Food for Thought

Carson Landry is not your normal artist.  At least not by old school standards.  Of course art is subjective, but when you’re making sculptures with leftovers from dinner...  For Carson it is about the process.  The gathering of the medium...digging through a restaurants dumpster or tipping busboys to bring the table scraps to him.  He’s even gone to people’s houses and waited until they were done eating dinner or helped them clean out their refrigerators of unwanted kim chi and the such. “Art involves all the senses.  I want to create something that is visually stimulating, but even more so, I’m really turned on when my creation wreaks.” Carson Landry is wierd, wild, edgy...and wanted at almost every art gallery in the world.
