Jack Lugar Jack Lugar, a writer, producer and lawyer; has written for network television and been involved in television/film production
since the early 1990's. Lugar has been honored for his writing by Disney, Warner Bros., Slamdance, Page Awards, and Scriptapalooza.
Recently he co-wrote Get A Life with Lis VarnHagen and was a quarter finalist in the Scriptapolooza
Television Writing Competition.
Lugar's
writing credits include: Staff Writer on the FOX sitcom Wanda At Large for which
he is credited with writing the episode Wanda’s Party, From the Top for Family Theater Productions, promotional spots for NBC's Joey,
and Mount Olympus High for comedian Louie Anderson’s company, Louzell Productions.
He has also produced 24/7, Pudgy’s Treehouse, and Complicated Laughter for Louzell Productions
and Parenting Teenagers for Apex Media.
Jack has been a guest lecturer at universities in Indiana and California
and a mentor to the Act One Writer’s Program in Los Angeles. He
has a BA in Communication, a MA in Media Management and a JD from Indiana University School of Law,
Indianapolis and holds the distinction of being elected into the Order of the Barristers. He is a member of the Sports
and Entertainment Law Society and Writers Guild of America west.
