Jack Shepard, a 28 year-old All-American farm boy is about to lose his father’s farm when Diane Beaumont a small town girl from the richest family in Fairmount comes back home from the Big Apple for a visit. Diane's dad owns the bank that is about to foreclose on Jack's farm and going against her dad she decides to marry Jack to save the farm. Carl Mason, former hell on wheels kid is now the town’s pastor and Jack’s best friend. Mary Ellen Wasserman-Mason runs the Jimmy Dean diner and is Carl's sexy wife even after 5 kids. Crash, the comic relief is a 22 year old race car driver and part time crop duster.
